Symbol UK began in 1999 with the aim of bringing together service users, skilled practitioners, commissioners and funding, to develop innovative services that enrich the lives of children and adults who have special needs.
Symbol works in alliance with service providers, including schools, local authorities, health trusts, charities, residential service providers, parent led groups, and other organisations.
Symbol does not work in competition with other providers, but seeks to share ideas and influence practice.
