Symbol is committed to tackling issues relating to disability and disadvantage through the delivery of its services as they relate to people who have special needs. We are very aware that here is much more to be done and often the commissioners of our services cannot fund projects or activities that we know could benefit their clients.
There are opportunities to help our client group through the research of issues that face them, or, the development of innovative services focussed on localised special needs.
Symbol, as an organisation aware of unmet needs, was instrumental in establishing the Symbol Trust which is an independent charity which shares our aspirations and values.
